Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the MyUni mobile application and related services operated by ArchonDev (collectively, the "Application"). ArchonDev is referred to as the "Service Provider".

By downloading, creating an account, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Application.

The Application is designed to support university students with academic information, campus-related features, community discussions, study materials, events, schedules, deadlines, and AI-assisted learning support.

You may use the Application only for lawful, personal, academic, and educational purposes. You agree not to misuse the Application or interfere with its normal operation.

The Application is intended primarily for university students and users who are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you may use the Application only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You should not share your login credentials with others or use another user's account without permission.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating or updating your account. The Service Provider may suspend or restrict access if false, misleading, or unauthorized information is provided.

The Application, including its code, design, logo, branding, interface, features, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to the Service Provider. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Application except where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use the Service Provider's trademarks, logos, or branding without permission.

The Application may allow users to post, upload, share, or submit content, including forum posts, comments, course reviews, study materials, event information, images, and other academic or community-related content.

You agree not to post, upload, or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or hateful
• Contains discrimination, incitement to violence, or encouragement of illegal activity
• Contains explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or other inappropriate material
• Violates the privacy, personal data, or rights of another person
• Infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains spam, scams, phishing attempts, malware, or harmful code
• Impersonates another person, organization, university, or official unit
• Is false, misleading, deceptive, or likely to cause confusion
• Disrupts the academic, community, or technical purpose of the Application

The Service Provider reserves the right to review, hide, remove, or restrict access to content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or community standards. The Service Provider may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content that you submit through the Application. However, by submitting content, you grant the Service Provider a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce, distribute, and process that content only as necessary to operate, maintain, moderate, and improve the Application.

This license does not allow the Service Provider to sell your content independently outside the Application.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights or permissions to upload or share any content through the Application.

Forum discussions, course reviews, study materials, user posts, event information, and AI-generated responses may be created by users or third-party services. Such content does not necessarily represent the views of ArchonDev, the Service Provider, or any university.

The Application is intended to support learning and student life, but it should not be treated as an official source for academic, administrative, legal, medical, or financial decisions. Users should verify important information through official university channels or other reliable sources.

The Application may include AI-powered features using the Google Gemini API to provide chatbot responses and learning support.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You should not rely solely on AI responses for important decisions. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information, confidential academic information, or private data when using AI features.

The Application may depend on third-party services to provide certain features, including Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Cloud Platform, Google Gemini API, and Open-Meteo Weather API.

The Service Provider is not responsible for interruptions, errors, policy changes, or limitations caused by third-party services, but will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Application's stability and user experience.

You may delete your account directly from within the Application.

After deletion is requested, your account and associated personal data will be temporarily hidden for 3 days. During this recovery period, you may restore your account if you change your mind. If the account is not restored within 3 days, it will be permanently deleted from the database, except where retention is required by law or necessary for security, dispute resolution, or abuse prevention.

The Service Provider may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Application at any time to improve features, fix bugs, enhance security, or maintain service quality.

The Application may not always be available due to maintenance, internet connection issues, third-party service interruptions, device compatibility, or technical problems. The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Application.

You are responsible for maintaining internet access, device security, and compatibility with the Application. The Service Provider is not responsible for mobile data charges, roaming fees, or other costs charged by your network provider.

You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Application, its servers, user accounts, databases, or related systems. You must not upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass security controls, or interfere with the Application's normal operation.

The Service Provider may take reasonable measures to protect the Application and its users, including restricting access, removing harmful content, or suspending accounts involved in suspicious or harmful activity.

The Service Provider may suspend or terminate your access to the Application if you violate these Terms, misuse the Application, infringe the rights of others, create security risks, or engage in unlawful or harmful activity.

Upon termination, your right to use the Application will end. Certain provisions of these Terms, including intellectual property, user content responsibility, limitation of liability, and dispute-related provisions, will continue to apply where appropriate.

The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider makes no warranties that the Application will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of access, academic consequences, or reliance on user-generated or AI-generated content.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Your use of the Application is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how the Service Provider collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Vietnam, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be handled by the competent courts or authorities under applicable law.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Service Provider regarding your use of the Application.

The Service Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted within the Application or on the official website with a new effective date.

Continued use of the Application after changes become effective means that you accept the revised Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 2026-06-30.
